Founded by Audra Doughty in 2013, Mud Queen Pottery has grown to showcase artists and foster a creative environment where you can get your hands dirty and explore clay.

Mud Queen Pottery is a community pottery studio located behind the farmhouse on 5933 Linglestown Road in our 143 year old barn! We teach classes on the pottery wheel and slab classes. We also have several specialty art classes taught by local artists and makers. Please check out our class shop to schedule a fun class!

Along with our barn studio, our farmhouse is home to a beautiful retail space that features handmade pottery made by Mud Queen potters along with handmade items made by many local artists and makers in and around central Pennsylvania.

Twice a year our studio closes for a summer break and a winter break. These dates are announced to studio members and students as soon as we confirm them with the entire staff. For 2023, our summer break dates are July 21st through August 15th.
